Spinning Yarn:
Your Good Wishes 2
 |
Lyn Blom, (Penguin Parade Philip Island): There was an article in the local paper which mentioned your visit on 14th
October. It was lovely to meet you and thank you for coming out here to
visit.
|
| |
Gayle Burgess,(textile Artist,
Healesville) You are crazy Marion, and brave. Have a great trip, you, one in a billion
You.
|
 |
Carolyn Rogers, Ripples on the Pond:
Hey happy traveler! You must be getting excited?! I am in the midst of moving home and business, so
if I'm not around to wave you off, have an amazing adventure, I will be thinking of you Captain
Marion Sparrow!"
|
| |
Russ Corran, (ex-Sheridan Spinning
Wheels): Great to read the article from the "AGE": I am one of those people that don't read the
paper, I found it very interesting, particularly the fact that you have your freezer set to minus
18C. AH, come on Girl, that's Chicken feed! I worked in a blast freeze when I was in the food
distribution industry & that was Minus 40C all the time. What we had to do in our hot weather
periods was to go into the chiller (+3-4 deg C) then into the storage freezer (minus 18-25 deg C)
then into the Blast freezer and acclimatize through each stage both on the way in & the way out
otherwise you would suffer very severe Migraine head aches. Its all about safety.

Sammy Garwood, (Crossfibres), "Marion, my
washing machine serviceman read all about you in the local paper.... came up when discussing the
home made wool mix I have for spun wool. Thought you would be chuffed to know. xx"
|
| |
Vicki Judd, (Crossfibres The Basin):
"Hi Marion, it's getting close to the trip now, and even I'm starting to feel excited for you, have
a fabulous time there, and safe home"
|
| |
Wendy Currie, (Crossfibres Selby): Merry
Christmas to you and we wish you a fantastic trip to The Antarctic. The perfect place to chill out.
Your spinning should come back with some exciting patterns. Take care and look forward to hearing
about your travels during 2011.
